DO YOU QUALIFY FOR GRANT FUNDED HOME INSULATION?

If you're a home owner or renting privately and fulfill any of the eligibility criteria below, you are likely to be eligible for a 100%, non repayable grant for cavity wall & loft insulation.

If you do not fulfill these criteria, you are still eligible for partial funding, of around 50% or more.

• Attendance Allowance
• Council Tax Benefit
• Disability Living allowance
• Housing Benefit
• Pension Credit
• Income Support
• Income based Job Seekers Allowance
• Child Tax Credit (if the earned income is less than £16,040 per annum.)
• Working Tax Credit (if the earned income is less than £16,040 per annum.)
• If you are over 70.
• If the state pension is your main source of income.

WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY HERE?

• If you occupy a flat, either privately rented or owned do not apply unless the occupiers above and below also wish to insulate their cavity walls. This is to prevent slippage of the insulating material.
• Those in social housing, i.e. housing association, council housing, please do not apply here, but talk directly to your landlord.
